The energy source providing Spiritual Healing has many names by different cultures and religions, dating back over thousands of years. From them has sprung an array of therapies that attempt to direct or regulate the effects of this energy.
Spiritual Healing has been described as being derived from the 'Soul' - but what is this non-physical aspect of a person if the devine origin is denied?
All matter that exists in the Universe is an expression of energy and a true Spiritual Healer will believe that this energy is derived from a divine source. This does not require a belief in a particular religion, it merely acknowledges that the creation of the Universe did not happen by chance but through an intelligence beyond our comprehension.
Living creatures have the ability to tap into this divine energy, which is commonly referred to as '(Vital) Life Force Energy'. It is only human kind that so often feels the need to create techniques to try to harness this energy and to use it in a controlled manner.
In essence, Spiritual Healing requires no human intervention but an openness to the process whereby all barriers are removed, allowing the full potential of divine healing to take place.

The source of 'Life Force Energy' (LFE) is unknown, but is associated with the divine and the acceptance that the essence of life itself did not happen simply by chance, but was created by an intelligence beyond our understanding.
The concept of life and the quintessence of being has been known by many names in different cultures and belief systems, going back over hundreds of years. Other names for LFE include 'Prana' (Sanskrit), 'Qui' or 'Chi' (Chinese) and 'Vijnana' ( e.g. Buddhism). In Latin it is known as 'Spiritus', or, when referred to in relation to an individual soul, as 'Anima'.
This animation presents my own concept in connecting with LFE whereby its effect is derived deep within the Universe, from a 'special place' which in the absence of any specific name will be referred to as SPIRITUS.
Spiritual Healers refer to the process of connecting with LFE as 'attunement'. This is not an exact science and each healer will have developed their own method for making such a connection. The sequence provides a representation of how I personally connect with the source of LFE.
Spiritus starts its journey from a distant pulsar depicted in the top left corner. Balls of pure white light representing healing energy are propelled towards the Sun where they are concentrated before enfolding the Earth, to subsequently be received into the hands of the Healer. LFE, being divine, requires no human intervention. The healer's role is merely to act as a receiver and to channel the energy to where it is needed by the recipient (patient).Spiritual Healing has no equal when its divine origin is fully respected and no human intervention is attempted. The Healer's role is purely passive, respecting the natural laws of the Universe. The stars and their constellations are constantly changing and represent the enormity of the Universe.
Consider that there are more stars twinkling in the sky than grains of sand on a beach, and that space and time has no limit.
Focus on the changing images of the stars and further consider the complexity of their origin. This can create an hypnotic effect and help with insomnia or other sleep disorders.
